Recrutement de membres et communication

Between early 2025 and May 2026, saguf was able to devise and develop a comprehensive strategy for member recruitment and communication as part of a project supported by the Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences (SAGW).

Based on interviews with existing and potential members, a futures workshop, and a best practices survey of SAGW’s member societies, concrete measures were identified and have already been implemented. The following measures serve as examples:

• Production of a saguf image video
• Production of the video series “Young Generation”, featuring sustainability scientists
• Organization of regular get-together events with new saguf members
• Provision of a public calendar for saguf-related events
• Creation of a quarterly newsletter
• Application for funding of a “saguf deep conversation” for 2027

Furthermore, the insights gained from the project were reflected upon in a GAIA article.

Finally, all results were compiled as a guide for other interested SAGW member societies. The content is available for download on this page.
